Marine Specialties stabilized the bank with hand-placed rip rap and added custom stone steps that improved access while blending naturally into the shoreline.

The Challenge
Ongoing wave action had eroded sections of the bank, leaving exposed roots and unstable ground along the water’s edge. The homeowner also wanted a distinctive stone staircase, but needed the project to stay within budget and meet U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requirements.
