Gainesville, GA Boat Dock Builder and Marine Construction Company Marine Specialties Inc. Gives Away YETI Roadie 20® Cooler in Father’s Day Contest
Marine Specialties Inc., a well-known aluminum boat dock builder and marine construction company also specializing in boat lifts, shoreline protection, and dock accessories gives away YETI Roadie 20® cooler in Father’s Day social media giveaway.
Gainesville, GA — June 21, 2017 — Local marine construction company holds Father’s Day contest via social media and gives away YETI Roadie 20® cooler valued at $200 to local Lake Lanier resident Mike Whitfield.
Local Lake Lanier resident Mike Whitfield had a nice Father’s Day surprise when he won a brand-new blue YETI Roadie 20® cooler from the local marine construction company, Marine Specialties Inc.
Marine Specialties Inc. just celebrated their 25th year in business in the Gainesville, GA area. The dock builder, boat lift installer, and shoreline protection installation experts who also have a location in Anderson, SC, has long been known as one of the most dependable, respected, and altruistic companies in the marine business. It’s not unusual for owner, Tom Child, to give away prizes, donations, or monetary grants and scholarships to local individuals and organizations, whether customers of his or not.
To enter the Marine Specialties Father’s Day contest, Child did not require entrants be current or past customers. Instead, the contest was open to anyone who registered. Then, they gained ‘points’ (entries) by performing certain – mostly social-media related – activities. Whitfield, the contest winner, earned a “boat-load” of points, according to Child. So many, in fact, that the automated platform Child used for the contest had no trouble declaring a clear winner.
When asked why he decided to hold this contest, Tom said, “I was super-enthusiastic about the contest idea because it seemed like a great way to engage – or re-engage – with past, current, and potential customers. It was fun for me to watch people enjoying interacting with our company online and to see their excitement while participating in the contest.”
He adds, “I know we wouldn’t have had such a successful business for the past twenty-five years were it not for our local communities we serve. We plan to hold more, similar, contests in the future to recognize our loyal friends and hopefully, to make some new ones.”
